When you speak in superlatives you better be able to back it up. If you claim to serve the world's best burger, I'll be looking for a line outside your door.
The free Haggin Oaks' Golf Expo, now in its record-breaking 35th year, bills itself as America's Largest Demo Days and they walk the walk, too. Last year, more than 15,000 people visited Golf Expo over the course of the three day show. Golf enthusiasts attended looking for a chance to see and test the hottest new equipment in golf; to talk with manufacturers representatives and get their personal questions answered; and, of course, to buy.
With Golf Expo in late April marking the unofficial start of the golf season in Northern California, there is a pent-up demand for warmer weather, new golf equipment, and another season's chance at lowering handicaps! Nowhere else in the country can the golfing public find this kind of size and scope in a consumer green, grass golf exposition.
These types of shows are often held in a small indoor venue with attendees hitting into nets. With its 100-stall, outdoor driving range and accompanying indoor/outdoor state-of-the-art Player Performance Studio, Haggin Oaks Golf Complex offers lots of room to spread out and try the latest equipment from every major golf manufacturer including Callaway, PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Nike, Cleveland and more, along with a good percentage of the lesser known companies. The 2009 equipment will be available in every imaginable specification for trial. Lefties, seniors, ladies- this is your opportunity to try a selection seen nowhere else in the country. Last year's show offered more than 150 vendors and this year promises the same.
Named by Golf World, Golf Digest and Golf Range magazines as the best golf promotion in the entire country, The 35th Annual Haggin Oaks Golf Expo in Sacramento, CA will be bringing back the wildly popular, Golf Course Alley, an area hosting dozens of golf courses from around Northern California and beyond. Golfers from all over California, Oregon and Nevada descend on this award-winning facility to learn more about vacation destinations, ways to improve their golf games, find new training aids, see the latest clothing styles, and have an opportunity to win prizes every day. Best of all, admission is FREE!
The Haggin Oaks Golf Expo is the only event that works directly with Reed Exhibitions, the company that presents the PGA Merchandise Show, golf's largest industry-only show. In a strategic partnership unique only to this event, dozens of new up-and-coming vendors are brought in for the general public to see and try. Many of these boutique brands show nowhere else in the country- using this event as their exclusive testing ground for new products with the general public.
Haggin Oaks will offer their inventory of thousands of used clubs for sale---clubs normally destined for eBay. And, by bringing in their own equipment for trade-in, golfers will be able to turn their closets and garages into dollars good for all of the hottest golf gadgets and gizmos.
The free admission Haggin Oaks Golf Expo, America's Largest Demo Days, returns to Haggin Oaks Golf Complex April 24, 25 & 26, from 9am to 5pm daily. Haggin Oaks is located at 3645 Fulton Avenue in Sacramento (at the Capital City Freeway). For more information, call (916) 481-GOLF or visit www.hagginoaksgolfexpo.com.
