You’re Forgiven!

Written by: Frank LaRosa 7:56 PM PST - 6/25/2008

Forgiveness. It’s a very satisfying feeling— especially when the forgiveness comes from a golf club! A new offering from Cobra Golf, the King Cobra Transition-S, combines three distinct technologies in one complete set to provide Cobra’s highest level of forgiveness—and that’s saying a lot from a company famous for developing easy-to-hit golf clubs.

King Cobra Transition-S is an integrated set of clubs that transitions from utility metals to hybrid irons to wide-sole irons and provides increased forgiveness for moderate ball speed players. The Tour guys don’t need that kind of help but for the majority of the rest of us moderate ball speed players, this technology will have us transitioning to lower scores in no time.

According to David Abeles, vice president of sales and marketing at Cobra Golf, “Transition-S was designed as a complete set to optimize distance gaps so players with moderate ball speed have the right club for every shot, making transition from fairway to green easier.”

The set consists of three utility metals (3, 4 & 5), two hybrid irons (6 & 7) and three wide-sole irons (9 & PW). Seniors’ and women’s sets include 4-SW. Transition-S delivers optimal launch and greater carry distance thanks to the set's low-and-back center of gravity.

To me, Cobra Golf seems like “the people’s club” because they continue to develop golf clubs for the average player. Test the new King Cobra-S at your local pro shop or visit www.cobragolf.com for more information. Get it—and get forgiveness!
